Fireballs
The flare in this image caught my eye with these two guys sauntering along in the winter sunset, the palm trees blurred in the background gave the scene something of a longing feeling, like finding something that is missing or is in short supply.
Looking for a Break
I loved the leading lines and the arches here, with the boy's expression really being what made me take the photo. What a beautiful location (Balboa Park) for both photography and Pokemon Go!

Sometimes cyclists do very odd things, I think this guy was just trying to get through since the main thoroughfare was pretty full. The spokes and the person behind created a nice layering
Intent
When I shot this photo, I loved the framing but I when I went through the culling process, I thought it was ruined. I think these two were having something of a disagreement, but the softness changes everything.
Domestic Demonstration
The lady looking on as the event unfolds is the perfect picture of my confusion, I wasn't entirely sure what this demonstration was for. Clearly something about Ukraine, but it wasn't clear whether it was for sending more weapons or something else ... I think it was the former.

I was considering taking a shot of the wig store alone as it has enough visual interest, but then I noticed how fun the poster, the sandwich sign and the reflection of the person crossing the street was and quickly took the photo

He went back and forth a few times with the hand-truck and I noticed that the light was very ideal, so I waited until he was lit properly to take the shot. I wish he hadn't looked at me, but I think it is still a good shot.

The leading lines and colors here were so beautiful that I framed up this shot the best I could quickly and took the shot ... The dog hiding under the chair was a bonus, he was a rescue and was both scared of everything and kind of aggressive ... interesting animal.

A look
The woman in the doorway caught my eye, and I had only a second to frame all of these people and grab the shot. The man sitting saw the woman walking up; the woman was looking at the man without turning her head. It is fun to make up stories about what they are thinking.
